First Step into International Manufacturing
To serve growing demand in Central and Eastern Europe cost-effectively, Elwink opens its first production facility outside Germany in Legnica, Poland. This site initially produces core runner models for the regional market.

The First Proprietary Runner
Elwink engineers patent the company’s first door slide. The product is quickly adopted by German manufacturers, with exports beginning to neighboring Austria and the Netherlands.
