About us
The Elwink Group develops and manufactures high-quality sliding and motion solutions for furniture, interiors, and architectural applications. Professionals across the world—from cabinetmakers and architects to builders and dealers—rely on our robust engineering and thoughtful innovation to bring fluidity and function to their projects.
At the heart of our offering are impressively designed sliding systems: smooth, full-extension drawer runners, space-saving sliding door hardware, and adaptable wardrobe solutions. Every product is backed by deep technical expertise and services that ensure flawless integration and lasting performance.
Our commitment to quality is realized at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Großräschen, Germany, where precision engineering and continuous innovation come together. To serve our international partners, we also operate a specialized production site for sliding door systems in Legnica, Poland. Supported by subsidiaries across Europe, Elwink delivers reliable solutions wherever craftsmanship meets creativity.
The Elwink Group operates today under its holding company Fred. Elwink SE, continuing a family-owned enterprise founded in 1926. Today, the sixth generation of the Elwink family leads a dedicated team of over 500 employees worldwide, uniting tradition with forward-thinking engineering.
Driven by Your Vision, Built on Our Values

Our Responsibility: For Craftsmanship and Climate
Sustainability is engineered into our work. At Elwink, we continuously invest in efficient, resource-conscious processes to meet the growing demand for our precision sliding systems while honoring our responsibility to the environment. We optimize logistics and shorten supply routes to actively reduce our carbon footprint.
As a member of AUF e.V., we participate in closed-loop recycling for aluminium. We also systematically recycle steel, brass, and plastic waste—including integrating a minimum of 50% recycled plastic into our products. Our certified energy management (ISO 50001) and environmental management systems (ISO 14001) ensure continuous improvement and accountability.
For decades, we have used a reusable packaging system to minimize waste. Our multi-use load carriers are a practical commitment to the circular economy—a practice valued by our partners and customers alike.
Our vertical integration allows full control over quality and sustainability. We operate modern, environmentally conscious surface treatment facilities, utilizing state-of-the-art, nickel-free processes. Our in-house laboratories conduct rigorous testing to ensure all standards are met and exceeded, guaranteeing that every component is as safe for people as it is reliable in performance.
For around a century, the Elwink name has been synonymous with precision, motion, and intelligent hardware. What began as a specialist in mechanical components has evolved, through strategic innovation and key European partnerships, into a leading developer of integrated hardware systems for furniture and architecture.
